Job Description:

Oversees the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely processing of tests and samples.This role involves managing laboratory staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.The coordinator liaises with medical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment, manages inventory, and implements quality control procedures.Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold high standards of laboratory practice.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science field is requiredCertified in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the designated discipline, and be qualified under CLIA regulations to function as a General or Technical Supervisor.General supervisory experience is preferred.Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory
