Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions invites you to embark on a thrilling career journey as a Laboratory Engineer in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ.
As a Lab Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting tests, creating test reports, and ensuring the adherence to engineering standards. Your role will also involve supervising laboratory entrance control, supporting engineering projects, and contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Utilizing sound Engineering judgment to create, apply, and document test reports, Engineering standards, etc., Supervising entrance control of the laboratory and supports the Engineering projects by performing the tests and creating control plans, performance & material test reports of the PPAP, Supporting team on a specific strategy which provides direction for his/her specific responsibility and is linked to FC Engineering and Laboratory Strategy, Supporting and engaging on processes to improve team efficiency with kaizens, 5S, GEMBA, CI (Continuous Improvement), Patent, Test Request System etc., Taking active roles to continue activities according to ISO 17025 International Laboratory Accreditation, Having a high focus on safety in their daily work on act as a role model in the team, Being responsible for inspections in laboratory to be made by customers, accreditation agencies, internal inspectors, etc. based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001, and ISO 17025, ISO/TS 16949 etc. systems, Aligning with quality and engineering by supporting tests divided into the groups Benchmark, Raw material, Semi product and finished product. A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering is required, A through technical knowledge of laboratory organization. That includes test methods, evaluation of the test results, material properties such as raw material, semi product, finished product that involve specifications, Ability to effectively and motivate people, while maintaining organizational harmony and meeting the deadlines, Experienced with Laboratory Quality System ISO/IEC 17025, To initiate preventive, rather than corrective, engineering action, Strong problem solving and project management skills, Effective communication skills with a team player mindset, Fluent in Turkish and English.
