Laboratory Equipment Specialist / Repair

We are seeking a diligent and experienced candidate to maintain, perform, review, and schedule lab equipment calibrations, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and other instruments. The role involves direct communication with service engineers and Quality Laboratory management, identifying root causes for instrumentation failures, and conducting repairs to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain, perform, review, and schedule lab equipment calibrations for instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, and GC.Communicate directly with service engineers and Quality Laboratory management regarding impacted instrumentation.Identify root causes for instrumentation failures through impact assessment processes and obtain quotes from vendors.Review Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ OQ PQ).Conduct instrument repairs to ensure laboratory efficiency through trending and data analysis.Identify and manage instrumentation that is no longer reliable or maintainable.Maintain, review, and schedule tasks in the database.Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.Document analytical activities and results accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining data integrity.Follow written analytical procedures and support troubleshooting activities.Identify and resolve execution challenges of analytical methods.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a Science field is required.Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry, but degrees in Biology, Microbiology, Physics, Environmental Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or something else related will also be considered.Experience in troubleshooting laboratory equipment.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00
