You Are:

The Laboratory Informaticist II is responsible for assisting in the operation and administration of laboratory information systems, collaborating with clinical and technical associates to enhance workflow methodology and tools.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to drive strategic goals and vision for the department.

·       Collaborate with colleagues to focus on standardized best practice workflow processes and clinical content to ensure alignment across all ministries in order to create efficiencies that improve patient safety.

·       Collaborates with technical colleagues to help identify any infrastructure related issues that have resulted in laboratory application issues.

·       Provides advice, guidance, and informal training to users of supported laboratory applications.

·       Support responsibilities include application support of medium to high complexity for all laboratory applications for a large, multi-regional healthcare system; maintaining regulatory compliance for all laboratory applications.

·       The Laboratory Informaticist maintains a patient-centric and end-user centric focus, while assisting with analysis, testing, documentation, education, implementation and optimization activities to enhance technology adoption and efficiencies to improve patient safety.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Domain / Industry: Has specialized knowledge of one or more sub-domains within the relevant industry vertical, and customer business domain.

·       Has basic knowledge of geography specific business domain and regulations, multiple industry standards and regulations and in-depth knowledge of one, sources and parameters of industry analytics, market/ industry trends / current state

·       UST and other chosen COTS Product Features / Functionality: Has specialized knowledge (awareness) of functionality of a specific product

·       Competitive Products Landscape: Has specialized knowledge of 2 or more of UST and other chosen COTS products for the same business process including knowledge of the competitiveness and UST capability at a high level

·       Different Implementations: Demonstrates specialized knowledge of 2 or more different kinds of implementations (upgrade, new implementation, conversion / migration, enhancements, maintenance, interfaces testing) for a specific product

·       Technology Concepts: Demonstrates expert knowledge of technology (OS, languages, applications, databases concepts, data models etc.), technology landscape

 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:   $88,000-$133,000

 

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
