As the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for for overseeing and improving the institutional operational performance of the laboratory. You will:
Accountable for overall laboratory operations to include but not limited to setting objectives, planning, staffing and managing activities of laboratory departments such as Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Services.Responsible for clinical, technical, administrative, regulatory, and financial management and improvement of the laboratory programs to ensure effectiveness, quality and efficiencyEnsures laboratory services meet the needs of patients in accordance accepted standards and best practices.Develops operational infrastructure that’s promotes intra departmental collaboration. Implements processes to support new business opportunities and technologiesCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology National certification from ASCP, AMT, NCA.4 years of Clinical Laboratory Testing experience2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a high complexity laboratoryOral and written fluency in the English language.
