**Title: Laboratory Operations Technician II** **Location: Des Plaines, IL** **(Onsite)** **Duration: 12 months** **Pay Range : $20/hr to $23/hr (On W2)** We are looking for a “ **Laboratory Operations Technician II** “to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. **Job Responsibilities:** + This role supports refresh and refurbishment engineers and activities within the Instrument System Support Organization. + Key responsibilities include taking inventory of failed/defective units from the field, gathering, and organizing data in Excel, operation of the instrument, and maintaining warehouse organization. + Gathering laboratory glassware from various work areas. + Use industrial dishwashers to thoroughly clean and sanitize the laboratory glassware. + Ensure proper labeling and handling of the collected glassware. + Return the cleaned glassware to their respective laboratory areas promptly. + Receive samples into the Research and Development (R&D) sample inventory. + Pull daily samples for testing by the laboratories. + Properly dispose of bulk samples according to guidelines at the end of testing protocols. + Attention to detail and accurate record keeping + Communicate effectively with the Laboratory Operations staff to ensure seamless daily operations. + The role requires the ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing between 40 to 50 lbs.throughout the workday. **Education:** + Degree at the Associate or Bachelor level is required. + 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
