Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Lead Technologist or Supervisor, processes Laboratory testing in sections where the successful completion of a clinical rotation has occurred. Tasks performed will include only those which do not require certification or licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Required: Active enrollment in, with progression toward completion, or completion of an Associate degree program in Medical Laboratory Science.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Completion of a clinical rotation in the section(s) of work assignment.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Trainee license in Medical Technology subject to State of Florida requirements.
