As a QC Laboratory Supervisor working onsite in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality control and research settings. In the QC team, you will manage a team of technicians in the pursuit of sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the QC Lab Manager you will be a model performer, a facilitator for the technicians, and a driver of strategic plans at the laboratory level.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily allocation of resourcing amongst the QC team
Drive team performance and develop an accountability mechanism to support feedback
Identify the requirements for support of multiple departments and help achieve strategic goals
Facilitate and support RCA activities
Identify and scope improvement opportunities in the process
Collaborate with fellow QC lab supervisors to scope opportunities amongst different work areas
Lead daily meetings with technicians
Acknowledge and facilitate fulfillment of the needs of the technicians, the QC team, and the physical resourcing of the lab
Understand and maintain Delaware’s Quality Management System requirements
Maintain and complete a personal and team development plan
Contribute to Departmental X matrix action items as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering
At least 2 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting
Experience in people leadership required
Work additional overtime as determined by team, business, and project needs
