Laboratory Support Technician

34 - 40 hours per week £14.60 per hour4 days on 2 days off(12-week rota of 8 wks @ 40 hrs 4 wks @ 32 hrs)Early shift 6:30am - 3pm Late shift 3pm - 11:30pm

Join the Sodexo team at Phillips 66 Humber Refinery, DN40 3DW. We seek 3 Lab Support Technicians who will play a key role in maintaining high standards and a positive safety culture in our laboratory operations. 

What you’ll do:  

Operating the bottle wash machineManaging sample container stock levels in the control roomPerforming on-site and off-site sample collection.Manage:

Sample disposal

Shipping from the sample store, and sampling product blenders.

Performing general maintenance of lab pick-up vehicle
oil, water, fuel, cleaning, tire pressure, and nut torque checksOrganising lab store deliveriesManaging collections and deliveries to and from the main stores.Assist with the resolution of any logistics-relates issues

 What you bring:  

Full UK driving licenseAbility to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.Knowledge of laboratory sample requirementsKnowledge of sample hazardsStrong organisational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
