OB SUMMARY 

Provide laboratory supports such as housekeeping, glassware washing, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies and other lab support activities to ensure the Process Development labs are clean, organized and well stocked. 
 

JOB DUTIES 

Collects, sterilizes and washes glassware and other supplies  

Handles biohazardous or chemical waste as part of housekeeping responsibilities 

Perform laboratory maintenance such as Incubator, BSC, refrigerator, freezer sanitization, general labs cleaning and other duties as necessary 

Using good manufacturing documentation practices to ensure accuracy and compliance records 

Keep track of accurate inventory sheet and place order as necessary 

Replenishes the lab stock daily, insure proper rotation of dated inventory and maintains cleanliness of the Process Development labs 

Perform other duties as assigned 

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS 

Knowledgeable with laboratory cleaning techniques and ordering process is a plus 

A focus to detail and keen on organization 

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job 

 
EXPERIENCE 

0-2 Years of Related Experience. 

 

EDUCATION 

High school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience 

 

QUALITIES 

Good oral communication skills are required; proficiency in English language 

Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision      

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & MENTAL DEMANDS 

Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear 

Ability to sit or stand for prolong periods of time 

Must be able to walk and drive between locations 

Physically able to wear laboratory protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves  

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 

Comfortable with working/handling of hazardous materials 

Ability to work Mon-Friday or as required dependent on business needs 

 

COMMUNICATIONS & CONTACTS 

Works closely with Process Development staff –  

Occasionally will be in presence of outside clients.
