Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in laboratory work and science. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in a lab environment, but a bachelor's degree is not required. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with others, and contributing to key laboratory functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, data collection, and equipment maintenance.Follow lab protocols and safety procedures to ensure accurate and safe handling of materials.Track sample data, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Work effectively as part of a team to support research and production goals.Communicate findings and updates to supervisors and team members in a clear and timely manner.Ensure the laboratory environment remains organized, clean, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Education & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework in science or laboratory technology preferred.Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.Familiarity with LIMS or similar database systems is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Willingness to learn and grow in a laboratory setting.

Laboratory Experience: Experience working in a lab setting, including basic lab tasks like sample preparation, data entry, and maintaining lab equipment.Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.Team Collaboration: Able to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to shared goals.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and troubleshooting.LIMS System Knowledge: Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for tracking and managing samples and data.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results and accuracy in data handling.Health & Safety Compliance: Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, including handling chemicals and biological materials.
