Job Title: Laboratory Technician 1
Location: Union, MO
Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 / 40hrs week

Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician. Ideal candidates should have experience with analytical bench sample prep work including grinding, weighing, extracting and pipetting samples for further analysis. 
 
Responsibilities Sample preparation including grinding samples, weighing out samples on analytical balances, and extraction of samples using solvents or buffer solutions Ensuring customer requirements and timelines are met for sample preparation. This is a demanding environment as our turnaround times range from same day to 5-day time-to-results. Additional support of laboratory activities including tracking stock levels, assistance with inventory, sample disposal, and general lab cleaning.
Requirements analytical lab bench sample prep work with ability to grind, weigh out, extract, and pipette samples for further analysis attention to details and adherence to protocols in ISO 17025 accredited laboratory multi-task and work independently
