Laboratory Technician

Due to continuous growth of Wagner’s Construction Materials Laboratory division, we are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team at Wellcamp QLD.

This will provide a great opportunity for a successful individual to expand their knowledge and work with an industry leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

Performing sampling of concrete and aggregates to recognised and approved methods Performing testing in accordance with Australian Standards and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads test methods Organising daily field testing Compiling and dispatching records Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results Ensuring compliance with project guidelines, procedures and systems through sampling products and testing/calibrations Developing opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements

About you

Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling of concrete (essential) Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable) Strong communication skills to communicate/interact with management, customers and personnel Strong commitment to safety and quality Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure Current Manual Driver’s Licence (essential) Construction card (essential)
