As a Laboratory Technician you will operate an optical microscope to examine samples and record findings. You will also operate and record results for machinery that performs analysis. Primary responsibilities include: · Ability to operate an Optical Microscope. · Operate Machinery that conducts and produces analysis for radiation detecting dosimeters. · Review data to validate results. · Perform routine machine operation, quality control, light housekeeping, record keeping, and calibration. · Identify, review, and correct anomalies in laboratory activities. · Implement preventative measures to eliminate reoccurrence of anomalies.
