Job Description
The Lab Technician in this developing team will be responsible for both conjugation of protein solutions and preparing buffers and biochemical formulations as part of their analytical solutions division. This includes utilizing laboratory techniques such as pipetting, balances, pH meters, vortex mixers, spectrophotometer, and conductivity meters. The products produced by this group are consumables used within analytical and immunodetection techniques such as Western Blotting. The role also involves maintaining and tracking supply inventory and recording manufacturing tasks in batch records.
ResponsibilitiesConjugate protein solutions.Prepare buffers and biochemical formulations.Utilize laboratory techniques such as pipetting, balances, pH meters, vortex mixers, spectrophotometer, and conductivity meters.Produce consumables for analytical and immunodetection techniques such as Western Blotting.Maintain and track supply inventory.Record manufacturing tasks in batch records.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.6+ months of experience in a laboratory or quality setting (can be during undergrad).6+ months of experience handling chemicals.6+ months of experience with lab practices such as pH meters, balances, and pipettes.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00
