Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our manufacturing team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the production process by conducting tests, experiments, and analyses to ensure the quality and consistency of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and a passion for maintaining high standards in manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment calibrations, and other relevant data.Prepare and analyze samples using laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring all tests are conducted in compliance with safety protocols.Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve product quality issues.Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new testing procedures and protocols.Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working condition.Monitor and report on product trends, variances, and anomalies to management.Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, following all applicable health and safety regulations.Support continuous improvement efforts within the laboratory and manufacturing processes.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Prior laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting (1-2 years preferred).Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, equipment, and quality control processes.Proficiency in using laboratory instruments, such as spectrometers, pH meters, and chromatography equipment.Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a laboratory setting.Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.Occasional lifting of laboratory equipment or materials (up to 25 lbs).Ability to work with chemicals and reagents while following all safety protocols.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with quality control or regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or ISO standards.Why Join Us:
