Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule, working the 3rd shift from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The role involves significant hands-on experience in a fast-growing lab environment with opportunities for career advancement and cross-training.

ResponsibilitiesConduct micro lab testing approximately 80% to 90% of the day.Perform remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours each day.Utilize laboratory equipment for various testing procedures.Execute plating and pipetting tasks in a lab setting.Essential SkillsProficiency in biology and microbiology.Experience with lab equipment and laboratory procedures.Skilled in plating and pipetting techniques.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in the Sciences.Work Environment

The position is based in a laboratory environment where the technician will spend most of the day performing micro lab testing. The workday includes one to two hours of documentation and cleaning tasks. The lab offers a robust learning environment with potential for internal career growth and relocation opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.72 - $22.79/hr.
