Laboratory Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Job Description The manufacturing technician will be working in a cleanroom setting to manufacture medical products for customers around the world. Responsibilities + Pipetting + Sample Preparation + Media Preparation + Assist in filling and packaging of products, which may include automated instruments + Proper and detailed labeling of products + Work with Scientists and Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintenance + Assist in washing, cleaning, and maintenance of reusable materials and/or instruments + Perform periodic inventory on packaging materials and/or replacement parts + Learn, perform proper handling of, and waste collection of Acids and Bases and other biohazards + Contribute towards accurate production records, maintenance logs, inspections, temperature records, and water systems + Support and comply with onsite safety program and notify supervisor of any safety hazards + Support the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System + Other duties as assigned, including cross-functionally across our small site Essential Skills + Pipetting + Sample Preparation + Media Preparation + GMP experience + Biology knowledge + Buffer preparation Additional Skills & Qualifications + Lab experience or experience in a GMP environment + Ability to follow lab procedures + Experience in biotech or prior education in the industry is beneficial Work Environment The work environment is a cleanroom setting where steel-toe shoes are required, and contacts cannot be worn. The company manufactures products used in infectious diseases and diagnostics. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional additional hours as needed.
