Our client food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting product excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work well in a team, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Laboratory Technician
**Location:** Franklin, WI (Onsite)
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct tests on moisture, salt, and oil content for tortillas and pretzels.
+ Collect and analyze samples, ensuring compliance with food safety and GMP standards.
+ Independently plan, prioritize, and execute work while making basic technical decisions.
+ Train and coach other employees, sharing knowledge and best practices.
+ Complete audit forms and maintain accurate records of findings and procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
+ Experience in food manufacturing or food quality assurance is highly desirable.
+ Familiarity with lab safety, policies, and procedures.
+ Ability to lift ingredients up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Proficiency in basic MS Office Suite applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
