Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Flanders, NJ Schedule: M-F 8 AM- 4 PM Type: Contract Responsibilities: + Prepare liquid product samples + Perform laboratory tests and procedures + Read samples on spectrophotometer and record data + Maintain laboratory equipment. Requirements: + BS Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred + Lab experience with pH Meter testing, Viscosity testing, ICI testing, Color Matching, Spectrophotometer, Flow/Leveling, Weighing, Stain resistance testing etc. a plus. + Excellent organizational and record keeping skills and detail oriented, + Basic math/computer skills and have the ability to communicate with others. + Experience in the coatings industry a plus.
