Job Description Are you looking for a great opportunity! Inframark is looking for an entry level laboratory technician in their Oklahoma wastewater plant. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine wastewater analysis for process control as directed by the Lead Operator. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs routine wastewater analysis for process control as directed by the Lead Operator such as: + Chemical oxygen demand (COD) + Analysis of BOD5 + Suspended and total solids, volatile solids, ammonia + Total kjedahl nitrogen (TKN) + pH + Conductivity + Process jar testing + The operations of the Atomic Absorption analysis equipment + Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions **QUALIFICATIONS** + Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safe practices + Previous water or wastewater treatment experience **_EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE_** High school diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of formal training and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience **_CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS_** None **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions **An Equal Opportunity Employer.
