Laboratory Technician I
**Title: Laboratory Technician II** **Location: Milford, OH** **Pay Range :$17 - $20/hr** **1st shift 8-5, M-F** Required educational qualifications: BS or BA in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry, with relevant chemistry lab experience. **Job description:** - Conduct analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods such as ASTM. - Perform test chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects. - Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. - Accurately record and maintain experimental data to ensure consistency and reliability of results. - Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices. - Prepare technical reports and organize information for senior chemists' review. - Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve testing methodologies. - Manage and safely dispose of chemicals as per environmental and safety standards. **Skills and Competencies:** **-** Basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques. - Experience conducting experiments in a chemical laboratory. - High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work. - Ability to follow complex scientific procedures and protocols. - Efficient organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and priorities. - Experience in using laboratory equipment and familiarity with computer-based data management systems.
