Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician I or II (depending on your experience) for our Blood Manufacturing lab dedicated to making a positive difference.  What to Expect 

Schedule: Days (e/o Weekend) -Monday - Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Sat/Sun 11:00 AM-7:30 PM

Salary: Laboratory Technician I $18.37-$19.88  Laboratory Technician II $21.40-$21.88 (must have 6 months working in a moderate complexity testing laboratory)

As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll get to: 

Maintain accurate data records and documentation. Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration. Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements. Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures. (depending on experience).

Laboratory Technician I 

High School or GED required No experience required.

Laboratory Technician II

High School or GED required.6 months lab experience requiredCLIA equivalent for moderate complexity testing required.
