Laboratory Technician – Full-Time Opportunity in Brendale, QLD

Are you looking for a hands-on role in quality control and materials testing? Downer is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Brendale, QLD, with an immediate start available. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality across asphalt, quarry aggregates, and raw materials while meeting internal and external customer standards.

About the Role: Conduct quality control testing on asphalt, quarry aggregates, and raw materials Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards Work closely with the operations team to maintain product integrity Adhere to safety procedures and contribute to a Zero Harm culture What You’ll Bring (Essential):

✔ Current Driver’s Licence
✔ General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
✔ Ability to work night shift as required
✔ Strong commitment to Zero Harm and workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

➕ Experience in asphalt, raw material, or mining testing
➕ Knowledge of the road asphalt industry
➕ Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (highly regarded)
➕ Understanding of NATA standards
