Work may be performed in any of the MWR facilities. Duties include segregation, inventory, and stocking of merchandise. Assists in the taking of inventories at required intervals. Supervisor provides specific instructions for new tasks, after which employee may independently complete duties involving several distinct tasks or steps. Supervisor may check work in progress or review results of finished project. Duties may also include minor maintenance and miscellaneous duties in order to ensure the facility is maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Welcomes customers and maintains product knowledge. React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance. Communicate information regarding product availability. Uphold predefined customer services standards. May complete financial transactions using a POS register and credit card machines. Comply with established safety standards, emergency preparedness requirements and all policies regarding loss prevention. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : Minimum : + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature as well as count, subtract, multiply and divide. + Ability to perform manual labor, including moderately heavy physical efforts required in lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, in bad weather. Continuous standing, walking, stooping or lifting is required. Preferred (in addition to the minimum): + One year of experience working on machinery. + Some experience in the operation of power tools for the purpose of basic carpentry and facility maintenance.
