Company/Location Overview

Iron Bull Distillery is a part of the Sazerac Company. We are in Halethorpe, Maryland and offer a great work culture, competitive compensation and benefits as well as a focus on work/life balance. We operate Monday-Thursday and some Fridays.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Position Overview: The laborer position is a hands-on position that provides support the bottling lines including case feeding, bottle feeding, case packing and cleaning.  This is a newly created position at Iron Bull Distillery.  The role requires punctual, in-person attendance.  

 

Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with safety requirements of the position; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from working unsafely. Report all safety concerns and all accidents and near misses immediately. Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations. Keep workplace clean and free of debris at all timesUnderstand and work with established standards to deliver the highest and most consistent levels of excellent customer service. New products are developed, produced and shipped on schedule, in full and meet agreed upon quality standards.Ensure adherence to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices. Own the standard operating procedure for the job and perform in accordance with standards. Continuously seek ways to improve performance and improve quality driven actions that lead to the award winning results. Actively engage in keeping work area and facility up to the established standards.Improve at least one skill each year as agreed with supervisor. Deliver on performance against outcomes.Continually seek ways to improve performance as measured by departmental Key Performance Indicators. Recommend ideas to reduce costs.Perform job in a responsible manner and in compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements Qualifications/Requirements

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.Ability to work overtime if necessarySedentary work that primarily involves standingIn-person job attendanceAbility to work near moving mechanical partsAbility to pay attention to detailNoise level at work station is loud Ability to work in wet, humid conditions Good physical health. For example; capable of working on your feet, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and squatting.Good vision and manual dexterity.Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directedMust be at least 18 years old
