General Purpose of Job:

Perform tasks involving physical labor at building and heavy construction projects to clean and prepare job sites as required to assist other craft workers such as carpenters and concrete finishers.

Essential Functions:

Remove forms from walls and columnsClean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazardsControl traffic passing near, in, and around work zonesSmooth freshly poured concrete or concrete, using shovel, come-along, or powered vibratorDig compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakesLoad, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specificationsMop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protectionLubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and toolsOversee filling of loads and coordinate delivery with foreman and crane operatorOperate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavementSpray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfacesApply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking gunsAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships
