Job Overview:

Under supervision of Construction Manager, employees will perform a variety of rigorous physical tasks outdoors in all types of weather in support of cleanup of contaminated soils from residences throughout Jacobsville, IN.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Climb ladders, dig holes and trenches, clean up construction debris, load and unload construction materials from trucks both manually and with lifting equipment Remove, fill, or compact earth, hand dig around foundations and utilities, pour concrete, lay asphalt, handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials Operate hand tools and power tools, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipments.

Basic Qualifications:

Able to work outside in all types of weather Minimum 3 years' experience and live locally (daily commute) to Jacobsville (Evansville), IN. Previous environmental project work preferred. Requires physical strength, stamina, flexibility, and dexterity Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training.
