**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled laborer responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in the build-out of new equipment in an assembly facility. This role involves working with various AC & DC voltages, troubleshooting electrical and process controls, and ensuring safe and timely completion of tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and process controls.
+ Use electrical test equipment and troubleshoot to a component level.
+ Work with various AC & DC voltages, including 3-phase and single phase.
+ Install electrical wiring and conduits per National Electrical Code (NEC).
+ Work independently or as part of a team.
+ Have basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI).
+ Experience with variable frequency drives/motor controllers.
+ Read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
+ Understand software associated with PLCs for troubleshooting issues.
+ Install and terminate communication and video cables.
+ Occasional overnight travel to repair equipment in the field.
+ Use various hand and power tools necessary for job completion.
+ Work safely and in a timely manner in all aspects of the job.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience performing electrical troubleshooting or assembly.
+ Experience working with electrical equipment, including panel boxes and control boxes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
+ Basic computer skills and knowledge of applicable software for reporting and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prefer 2 years of vocational school in electrical.
+ Prefer 3 years of relevant experience.
+ Physically capable of bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

**Work Environment**
The work environment involves working in an assembly facility with occasional overnight travel required to repair equipment in the field. Employees are expected to use various hand and power tools and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Pflugerville, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
