Job Description
This position is an active on-the-floor support position which could entail standing for long periods of time. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to work with hands repetitively (grabbing, handling, picking, packing, processing, etc.). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds (i.e. – loading and unloading pallets).
Responsibilities:
· Apply proper product protection/ stacking/ packaging techniques· Will coordinate/interface with the Supervisor to achieve production goals and objectives· Assist the Supervisor in seeing that all work orders are followed through properly to completion and meet all specs, Accountable for all process compliance and daily reporting· Package materials into crates for shipment· Operate forklift moving product throughout facility
Qualifications and Requirements:
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)· Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions· Must be able to perform basic math calculations related to the position· Legibly and accurately record production performance data in a timely fashion· Minimum three years of manufacturing experience· Basic computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office)· Must be forklift certified
