C&S Waste Solutions is currently hiring for a full time Laborer/Sorter to work out of our site in Ukiah, CA!

Schedule is Monday through Friday 4AM-3PM. Occasional Saturdays as needed. Starting pay is $20 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-$21 per hour.

The Position:

We are looking for a high energy Sorter/Laborer to join the team at C&S Waste Solutions in Ukiah, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Be punctual and on time.Wear proper PPE at all times.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.Ability to stand for long periods at a time.Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and environments.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
