What We Offer:

3 weeks vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO days.

Starting Hourly rate is $22.50 per hour plus bonus. 

Our site location is located in Van Wyck, SC, but you would report to work in Kershaw, SC after training.

What You’ll Do

Operate skid steer and assisting blasters and operators in the loading of blast holes. Preparation of explosive products for the customer.

Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast site in order to safely serve the customer.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites in order to protect personal safety and the safety of others.

Maintain safe working conditions on and near the blast site.

Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.

Comply with Loss Control Board mandates in support of the implementation of all policies improving the quality of blasting services and limiting liability exposure related to the blast event.

Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Good work habits. Prior manual labor experience preferred.

Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in writting and verbally

Present oneself in a professional manner at all times

Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
