**Labor/Firewatch** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in power tooling in a shipyard setting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in tight spaces and able to stand for long periods. Experience with grinders, drills, and other pneumatic tools is highly desired. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine physical labor, including moving materials, tools, and equipment. + Clean equipment, vehicles, machinery, and work areas. + Operate various types of tools such as pneumatic, electric, and hand tools. + Perform brush roll or hand brush painting. + Assist blasters by pulling hoses, mucking tanks, and removing grit. **Essential Skills** + Experience with power tools in a shipyard setting. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Proficiency in using grinders, drills, and other pneumatic tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor skills. + Experience with hand tools. + Firewatch certification or experience. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable shipyard experience and is a contract-to-hire role, providing potential for long-term career growth. **Work Environment** This role is based in a shipyard environment, requiring work in tight spaces and long periods of standing.
