Compensation: 22-35 Job Description: This position involves working outside with your hands on a pipe crew for the installation of sewer, storm and water pipe. This position has the potential to work up to a foreman or operator position. Job Duties: Including but not limited to the following: + Cut pipe using a quickie saw. + Manually maneuver pipe. + Shovel rock, dirt, or sand. + Swing a sledgehammer. + Lay pipe. + Figure grades. + Climb in and out of excavations by ladder or earthen ramp. + Manually carry materials including bags of concrete, lumber, plastic pipe, grates, castings, etc. + Responsible for the care and storage of all tools they use and clean up. Job Requirements: + Lift a minimum weight of 100 pounds. + Work outside in the elements. + Able to respond quickly and willing to assist with any job duties asked by Foreman + Be able to work well in a group setting as well as individually at times. + Self-sufficient + Able to follow instruction.
