Essential Responsibilities :

Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting , etc.Assist with traffic control proceduresPerform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipmentPerform other road maintenance duties as requiredWork outside in all weather conditions  

Qualifications :

Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testingBe able to perform physically demanding tasksMust possess a valid Class 5 driver's licenseProvide a 3-year driver’s abstractPrevious experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset

Work Conditions : 

Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the workAs LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be requiredBenefits and RRSP provided by CLAC
