**Labourer-Firewatch, Thomaston, GA** Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a **Firewatch** in **Thomaston, GA location.** **This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 5:30p-6am with rotatingSchedules.** **Week-1 they work: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday** **Week-2 they work: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday** **What You’ll Do** + Responsible for monitoring work being performed and ensuring hot work is under control. + Keep areas of work clean and organized. + Other tasks as required, as assigned by supervisor. **What You Offer** + Experience in a sawmill operation will be an asset; + Strong commitment to safety; + Ability to remain calm in emergencies, respond quickly, and follow all reporting and safety procedures; + Ability to work evenings/nights and remain awake and alert at a fixed location; + Strong observation skills and ability to patrol for signs of fire or any other unusual events; + Ability to lift +/- 50 lbs. **Who We Are** Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
