Essential Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with crew members to uphold construction standards and best practices.Maintain a clean, organized work site, following all safety guidelines.Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activitiesMix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphaltLoad and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areasAct as a spotter for heavy equipmentInstall and maintain safety equipment and signageCare for and manage small tools, ensuring they are clean, properly stored, and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

Experience and understanding in carpentry skills, formwork, and concrete processes for winter construction is an assetSafety-focused mindset, with any relevant safety training certificates.Detail-oriented and eager to learn construction standards.Previous experience in commercial construction is required.Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Work Conditions

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.Overtime may be required to meet construction deadlinesPrimarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Compensation

$23.51 - $30.61 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
