Manufacturing/Test Engineer (LabVIEW)

Job Description

We are a Minnesota-based Test Systems Integrator specializing in Software Development and Test Systems Design. We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Systems Engineer with extensive experience in developing LabVIEW test systems and solutions. This individual will act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team and will also take on a lead role providing mentorship and coaching to other employees.

ResponsibilitiesWrite high-quality LabVIEW softwareWork directly with clients and manage client relationshipsPerform medical device validationDefine project requirementsWork with a wide range of hardware systemsIntegrate software and hardwareDeploy systems at client locations, primarily around the Twin Cities, MNCreate documentation for validation and verificationEssential Skills8+ years of experience working with LabVIEWBS in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldWillingness to adapt LabVIEW programming style to company guidelinesExperience with systems engineering, test engineering, and manufacturing test systemsExperience with National Instruments TestStand and LabVIEW Development for Manufacturing Test SystemsExperience with medical device validationMentoring and coaching skillsCustomer-facing experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsEngineering or technical experience, especially in electrical engineering or physicsExperience in the medical device, military/aerospace, or automotive industriesLabVIEW Certified Developer (CLD) or LabVIEW Certified Architect (CLA)Experience with validation documentationTestStand experienceKnowledge of additional programming languages such as SQL, C/C++, Python, NodeJS, C#, and JavaAbout Actalent
