Your role and responsibilities

Job Description: •\tThe role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for efficient productions of quality products in the required quantities. •\tLace motors using a lace machine and some hand lace.•\tUse Shop Floor Display, read and comprehend: Special Instructions, TDRs, Manufacturing Instructions, and all diagrams related to task. •\tTrain and/or perform the tasks of the other associates in the area as needed, such as, connecting, sleeving, etc. •\tUse of flex flow and day and rank system •\tMust be able to comprehend all work instructions.•\tMeet specifications, produce a quality product, work defect free work and meet production goals•\tIdentify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed. •\tUse various hand tools•\tProduction operators to train and/or perform the tasks of the other associates in the area as needed.•\tIdentify materials used at their workstation and as required by the job, process necessary material transactions. •\tCommunicate with other operators and supervisor to discuss any problems.•\tSupport other functions within the team/department.•\tMust be able to work with others in a team environment•\tWilling to cross train on other position within the team/department. •\tPlace safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines along with reporting safety issues. •\tDaily housekeeping. •\tWork overtime and other duties as needed.

Qualifications for the role

Education and Experience Needed:\tHS Diploma or equivalent required\t6 months of Industrial type experience or in lieu of industrial experience will consider military service, vocational/technical high school and technical college courses.\tPrevious motor manufacturing experience preferred.Specialized skills or other requirements:\tSteady work history\t\tReliable transportation to and from work\tAdaptable to change and ability to cross-train\tDetailed oriented\tMust be able to work any shift\tAbility to use a hoist Physical Demands:\tAble to push buggies with parts/motors using 50 lbs of initial force to move it, with 25 lbs of sustained force to keep it moving \tRepetitive pushing and pulling on wires.\tUnderstand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Eye Protection with side shields\tRepetitive reaching, bending, grasping and twisting\tMust be able to work around brazing odors\tAble to work 40hrs a week and required overtime\tAbility to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment\tAble to perform task in a manufacturing environment\tStanding on concrete floor for 8 hours or more a day
