Basic Job Functions:

The responsibility of the Ladle Person Assistant includes but is not limited to; assisting the team with the safe and accurate operations and/or maintenance of all ladles in process and either LMF, depending on need. This will require clear communications with teammates in the Melt Shop and may include contractors at times. This position will be responsible for assisting the Ladle Person in all areas of responsibility. This position will work in an extremely hot environment. The Ladle Person Assistant will be expected to work nights, weekends, holidays, and cover shift when needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

6 months of refractory or Melt Shop experience
