**Job Title: Laminators**
**Job Description**
Responsible for performing all tasks involved in the fabrication of the company’s composite parts. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prep and maintain tools in accordance with specified guidelines and procedures
+ Accurately follow work instructions
+ Perform Composite layup.
+ Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids
+ Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually
+ Understand and complete internal and customer required layup documents
+ Record information on appropriate production records, logs, and other report forms
+ Perform re-work as required
+ Clean and reseal tools using the appropriate release systems
+ Be aware of FOD and Tool control at all times
+ Continuously demonstrate commitment to the highest practicable safety and housekeeping standards
+ Repair defective products rejected by inspection or test personnel
+ Participate in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role
+ Other duties as assigned
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months+ manufacturing experience
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs
+ Hand and power tool experience (hand drill a must)
+ Ability to do simple measurements
+ Ability to understand written instructions in English.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
