Job Description
Responsible for performing all tasks involved in the fabrication of the company’s composite parts. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
ResponsibilitiesPrep and maintain tools in accordance with specified guidelines and proceduresAccurately follow work instructionsPerform Composite layup.Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voidsCheck completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visuallyUnderstand and complete internal and customer required layup documentsRecord information on appropriate production records, logs, and other report formsPerform re-work as requiredClean and reseal tools using the appropriate release systemsBe aware of FOD and Tool control at all timesContinuously demonstrate commitment to the highest practicable safety and housekeeping standardsRepair defective products rejected by inspection or test personnelParticipate in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this roleOther duties as assignedEssential Skills6 months+ manufacturing experienceAbility to lift 50 lbsHand and power tool experience (hand drill a must)Ability to do simple measurementsAbility to understand written instructions in English.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.
