Responsibilities We are seeking a mission-focused LAN/WAN Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Washington, D.C. or Reston, VA! Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities: + Serve as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance. + Serve as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs + Provide expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management + May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers. + Provide insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities + Consult with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction. + Provide expertise on, deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools + Provide expertise on BPG, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering. Qualifications Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies: + Years of experience with one of the following: + High School/GED plus eleven (11) years of relevant experience + Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience + Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience + Master's degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience + PhD plus three (3) years of relevant experience + IAT II Security Clearance Level: + TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph or ability to obtain a CI polygraph Work Schedule: + Full-time on-site Benefits Offered + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Tuition/Training Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, and Holidays.
