Syensqo is seeking a LAN/WiFi Lead Engineer to spearhead our efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable local area network (LAN) and wireless fidelity (WiFi) infrastructures. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-performance connectivity that supports our organization's operational needs and our clients' demanding requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of network architecture, combined with leadership skills to guide a team towards achieving excellence in network deployment and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNA) are preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on LAN and WiFi technologies. Expert knowledge of networking principles and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless communication standards (e.g., IEEE 802.11), and network security practices. Experience with network management and monitoring tools, wireless controllers, access points, and other networking hardware. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
