D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for anLand Acquisition Coordinatorin the Operations Department. The right candidate will organize and maintain land/lot contracts and feasibility through closing for the Land Acquisition and Land Development departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create, organize, and maintain land/lot contract filesAssist in the permit process, schedule timelines, and adjustmentsPrepare analysis/deal sheet for each siteMaintain status/critical dates report to ensure all deadlines are metEnsure that all required paperwork is completed and distributed to the necessary parties, land/lot purchase through community completionProvide required documents to corporate departmentsRequest and track earnest money deposits and releasesAssist the Land Department with responding to staff reports and all conditions of approval and coordinate a timely re-submittalCoordinate closing process with outside title and escrow agentsCoordinate HOA set up and governing documentsRequest and review title, environmental studies, surveys, site plans, etc.Coordinate with the Land Development team to generate accurate exhibits for land purchase documents, lot take schedules, and phasing plansCoordinate with various consultants to ensure timely and compliant entitlement application submissionsManage archives and storage of physical and digital land acquisition filesOrganize and maintain daily correspondencePrepare and send check requestsCoordinate with utility consultants to ensure that accurate information is set up and transferred to HOAsCoordinate with the city and county to ensure address approvalFacilitate mailbox setup throughout the projectAssist with perimeter wall and retaining wall submittals and approvalConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyOur main office in located in Biloxi next to beaches, casinos, and lots of other entertainment
