My client is one of the largest trading companies that have been operating since the 70s. Their expertise spans across steel, chemicals, electronic components and pioneering new business areas. They are expanding their footprint in renewable energies in Germany with solar energy projects.
As Land Acquisition Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing prime locations for open-space photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Northern and Eastern Germany.
Day to Day:

Pinpoint and acquire optimal locations for solar and energy storage projects. Contact and negotiate with landowners and tenants, while fostering strong relationships with local authorities. Conduct detailed feasibility studies and economic evaluations, crafting compelling project concepts. Actively contribute to their ambitious acquisition targets.

What you bring:

Proven track record in securing sites for renewable energy projects, particularly open-space PV systems and BESS. Deep understanding of the German renewable energy market, including the approval process for solar parks. Strong negotiation and communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships. Entrepreneurial thinking and a results-driven approach
