Internship Overview: Brookfield Residential’ s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our projects and operations. This internship program is open to highly motivated and driven students who are eager to explore the development and residential real estate industry, gain practical experience, and make meaningful contributions to our team. The Summer Internship Program will begin on May 19, 2025  and conclude on August 15, 2025.

Team Overview: This opportunity will work closely with our Land Acquisitions team.  Areas of responsibility will include, and not limited to, the following: 

Your Key Deliverables

Support project underwriting (i.e. government fees, revenue comparables and similar tasks)Identify properties for acquisition based on provided parametersConduct research on government and other grant programsUpdate and maintain historical data regarding underwriting efforts related to revenue and expensesAttend team calls to discuss project pipelineSupport overall pursuit and entitlement efforts

Qualifications

·        Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a related field(e.g., Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

·        A keen interest in real estate and development.

·        Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.

·        A positive and can-do attitude.

·        Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.

·        Must possess reliable transportation.
