Land Installation Engineer

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Installation Engineer will be part of a dynamic and international environment, working on projects relevant for the green transition to renewable energy. He/she will play an active part in the execution and success of the activities, interact with a multicultural team, in close contact with subcontractors and clients. This will definitely be an accelerator for personal and professional growth.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support in defining cable installation requirements.Preparation of technical documents for cable installation activities such as detailed drawings, descriptive documents.Active interaction with internal departments, external consultants, subcontractors and clients.Support in planning activities of cable installation on site, with in addition possible site visits to check feasibility of the proposed solutions.Technical support to purchasing department for the finalization of subcontracts.Preparation and check of final as-built documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

Honours degree in technical engineering (preferably civil, mechanical, or materials engineering)Fluent in English and German written and spoken0/3 years of work experiencePreference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/marketKnowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, GIS.
