Job Description:
Overview
The Land Planner III position leverages technical expertise to navigate regulatory landscapes, engage stakeholders, and craft sustainable development solutions.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive research and data collection efforts for complex land-use planning projects.
Conduct site analysis activities, including in-depth field surveys and data interpretation.
Develop planning documents, such as detailed site plans, zoning maps, and in-depth land-use analyses.
Review and analyze project documents, including site plans, zoning ordinances, and environmental impact assessments, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
Collaborate closely with civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of planning and engineering aspects.
Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on project tasks.
Proactively monitor and analyze evolving zoning regulations, environmental policies, and emerging trends in land use.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in land planning or related field.
Advanced analytical and research skills.
Proficiency in advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading teams and driving projects to successful outcomes.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs. #LI-TJ1
Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in Urban Planning or Landscape Architecture.
