Land Planning and Entitlements Project Manager
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Land Planning and Entitlements Project Manager to support one of the nations largest builders. As a Land Planning and Entitlements Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful development of one of Insight Globals top residential construction clients in Charlotte. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities related to land planning, entitlement, and budgeting for new projects. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the management of day-to-day activities of project due diligence, feasibility budgets and schedules, planning and entitlement, and budgeting activities. Support programs established by Area management teams. Assign and manage due diligence projects for designated business units or geographic areas. Assess project risks and participate in establishing feasibility budgets and schedules for consulting and engineering development activities. Coordinate project management activities with Division VPs and the Operations Team to facilitate timely project start-up. Ensure consistent and accurate budget data. Monitor vital document compliance (i.e., SWPPP, NOI, NOT, and various other permits). Review Purchase Agreements for necessary entitlement deal points and monitor compliance with terms. Aid in coordination of joint development agreements or joint venture management responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in land planning, construction, Engineering, or a related field preferred. - 2-5 years of experience in land development, entitlement, or a related field. - Strong understanding of land use regulations, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes. - Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
